Your Story - Chris

In the beginning…

Chris got in touch when she was looking to have a very special piece of jewellery made to commemorate her brother. She wanted something that she would wear and that would be laden with meaning. She had seen a Toi et Moi ring online that she liked the style of and wanted a pink pear sapphire and a round brilliant diamond as the stones. 

The Plot

Finding the perfect gemstones can take time. You can’t always find the exact one for a design exactly when you want it! We had looked at several contenders, but some were too bottom heavy, some a bit lifeless and others were a bit too pale and interesting. The key was to wait and keep looking until the right one came along. And lo and behold, two came along at once! Both were a beautiful vibrant pink and with good proportions. Chris liked both sapphires so asked Sophie to make the final decision based on her judgement. 
Finding a 0.5ct round brilliant diamond is considerably less tricky, so with both stones secured and the render signed off, it was time for the workshop to work their magic.

The Story Continues

Upon receiving the ring, Chris fell in love with it! A prefect symbol of her and her brother in a time-honoured design. It came as no surprise when Chris said her daughter would undoubtedly also love the ring! It means that Chris can pass it on to the next generation, knowing that the story of how it came into being will be passed on with it. A ring for the generations.
